True
Beauty
by
Emilie Charbonneau, Waldheim, Canada, Age 17
True beauty comes from within,
It doesn’t come from liposuction or saline.
Implants are as fake as an unhappy smile.
It doesn’t come from make up,
Lipstick, eyeshadow and mascara
That’s not you.
True beauty is all natural,
All you.
Beauty is what shines from the inside,
Not what's on the outside.
If you feel ugly on the inside
It will shine through
No matter how pretty you look
On the outside.
If you love you for you
That’s going to shine through
And people will love you for you.
That’s what true beauty
Means to me.
