From the beginning you are thrown into life,
For there is no time to be young.
Pressure is your only friend,
It has coveted speed all along.
Eyes constantly watch you with impatience.
For want is a feeling you do not desire.
Emotions are not allowed.
Knowledge is all you can have, nothing higher.
Your goal is to reach fulfillment,
Even if it’s not within yourself.
Everyone’s contentment is your mission.
For your own needs are placed on a dusty shelf.
This path is inescapable.
You must achieve everything you can.
You are never suppose to look back,
But remember; leave a part of yourself in the plan.

All Creative Teens, Worldwide! FAZE is creating an online space showcasing teens' writing talent from across Canada and around the world. Original short stories, essays, articles, poetry, song lyrics...send them all in! We'll post everything we can and will also feature Story/Essay/Poem of the Month. We'll also have a chance for you to vote on your favourites and view the results. And we'll be organizing lots of prizes as well! |
