In Due Time
by Tolu Quadri, Toronto, ON, Canada, Age 19

Verse:
I can’t believe I gave you all of me
All the love in me, you were my everything
Would never wish this in a million years
Memories we shared without you nothing’s the same
All of my emotions are running high, burning me inside
I can’t hide it no more I missing you and all cried out of tears
I keep on waiting here for you to walk through that door.

Intro chorus:
You always told me truth meant strength
And you said with love we would last to the end
So why does truth have to hurt the most
Makes me weak it stole my hopes
The times have changed

Chorus:
In due time maybe I’ll see you again
In due time I’ll learn to love in the end
In due time I hope to finally win
Someday, someday.

Verse:
I would give up everything to talk to you
Just to be wit you the past I would erase
I never had the time to say goodbye
When I close my eyes every time I see your face
It’s kind of crazy I always believed
What you said to me, that love would always stay
That’s why I just can’t understand it all let an angel fall
God took my love away

Intro chorus:
You always told me truth meant strength
And you said with love we would last to the end
So why does truth have to hurt the most
Makes me weak it stole my hopes
The times have changed

Chorus:
In due time maybe I’ll see you again
In due time I’ll learn to love in the end
In due time I hope to finally win
Someday, someday.

Bridge:
You got my head up in the skies for you
And got me praying wishing that it was me instead of you
I feel so lost what am I going to do, but to pray for better days
That one day I’ll see your face again (again)

Chorus:
In due time maybe I’ll see you again
In due time I’ll learn to love in the end
In due time I hope to finally win
Someday, someday. (*rep 2)
