Ive asked God for true love
And he gave it to me
Not everyones prayers come true the way the want them too
But for some reason he gave me you!
I couldnt ask for some better to love
To me you are my world
I will never forget the day we met
For it was the greatest day yet
The lord has been so good to me
For he gave me you to love
Its the greatest gift i could ever get
For he gave me you
I couldnt ask for anything more
For i would feel selfish
For i have already got
More than i could ask for
I asked the lord for true love
And he gave me you
I asked the lord to make me happier
And there you stood!
