13-Watch for an new television campaign
for Faze Magazine in 2003. We've been advertising on GlobalTV
(during some teen programs) but we've got a brand new set of
very cool commercials ready to air early next year and we'll
now also be on YTV, MTV and a bunch of other channels.
DEC 12-More planning for 2003...lots going on...a massive
party in November 2003 at the Exhibition Place in Toronto with
bands/extreme sports competitions/fashion shows/product demos
etc. Faze is also releasing a Music Video DVD!
DEC 12-Loads of new subscribers this holiday season...we've
mailed out a second batch to thousands of subscribers (including
comp. list subsribers). We didn't want all the new subscribers
to have to wait until Spring 2003 for their first issue of Faze.

9-Had a last minute call to interview
some hip hop band NEXT the next day. Couldn't find anyone to
do the interview at such short notice. Ooops, maybe NEXT time.

6-Faze was at an exclusive launch
of Matrix's new salon haircare products in Toronto today. Some
top stylists working with Matrix's new Trix product lineup.
Lorraine ended up being test model with a couple of the stylists.
Matrix is the No. 1 selling salon line (i.e. only sold in salons)
of haircare products...they're owned by L'Oreal.

Home Entertainment lineup for Xmas. Spent a quality hour with
Bruce Shelley, the man behind the best-selling (and our favourite)
PC series AGE OF EMPIRES. Bruce was taking great pride in taking
us through his team's latest creation AGE OF MYTHOLOGY, due
in stores October 10. Microsoft's Lisa Webber also ran us through
some other hot PC games from Microsoft (MS Combat Sim 3, Links
2003, Sega RallySport, Zoo Tycoon Expansion Packs)

it all out. Faze's Maya interviews The Rascalz, while MTV Canada
films (more footage for their Faze feature.) We checked out
the Snowboarding competition, the skateboarding and BMX demos
and took in some great bands, including The Rascalz, Mighty
Mighty Bosstones & Dropkick Murphy.

in an upcoming show. The lovely Exan, Toronto host of Select,
checked in on during some Faze school focus groups, spoke to
some of our teen writers and went to our production facility
for interviews with Faze founders Lorraine and Paul as well
as former Faze covergirl and longtime contributor, Hilary Rowland.
