DEC 14--FAZE met Canadian Band I.D. at a special event in Toronto hosted by GrooveMusicCanada. Does Canada really need a N'Sync clone band? It was at a cool club though. DEC 9--FAZE has a massive 2001 ahead: big contests, 150,000 copies with each issue, a huge 500,000 copy Back-To-School issue, double the pages, more stories, more pictures, more sections, an expanded website...FAZE is taking the new millenium by storm.

DEC 1--HUGE NEWS FOR ALL MOFFATTS FANS!!! We are happy to announce a new "MEET THE MOFFATTS" contest. We will transport you and a friend to the Moffatts this summer and you'll get to hang out with the Canadian superstars. Hotel, limos, dinners...it's huge. Other prizes up for grabs as well!! NOV 30--FAZE was at the Canadian Pro Squash Tournament, as World Champion Jonathon Power triumphed over his biggest rival Scotsman Peter Nicol. By the way, Jonathon is a full blooded Canadian, and is the best on the planet! Yep, an article on Jonathon is coming.

NOV 27--Chretien and friends power to a big and expected election win. The Canadian Alliance made handsome gains in seats but failed in Ontario, the key battleground. The Bloc Quebecois lost ground and the NDP and PC parties barely stayed alive.

NOV 27--Reporter Brian B met with ED THE SOCK down at MuchMusic for an upcoming story. We met the man behind the sock (to all of you who didn't realize there was a man behind the sock, sorry for ruining the magic.) Ed is an incredibly bright and articulate piece of clothing and look for him in the Summer issue of FAZE. Also met VJs Rachel Perry and George Stroumboulopoulos, very cool, friendly people!

NOV 18--FAZE checked out a FTV party in Toronto NOV 14--Traffic on the FAZETeen.com website is growing! OCT hits were up 33% from SEPT, and so far NOV is up 54% from OCT!!! Wait until we finish our redesign...there will be a lot coming, please be patient, and check in often! NOV 14--The Amazon Parrot article has been picked up by a major local newspaper in Atlanta.

NOV 13--Faze was at the party that Mel Lastman threw for himself...lots of press tracking the mayor, the TV helicopter (braodcasting live) even chased his limo through the streets of Toronto. Reminded me of OJ Simpson in the white Ford Bronco.

OCT 16---The FAZE interview with Radiohead in Toronto is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. Our resident musician, Paul and teen reporter Julia D will meet members of the band to talk about the last couple of years that Radiohead have been working on the new album Kid A.

JULY---A big full colour feature article on FAZE in the Vancouver Sun on July 28th!

JULY---A whole bunch of new articles online: Aerobic Training, Interracial Relationships, Taj Mahal, Landmines and more! Pictures for those articles are on the way...

JULY---A huge crowd of teens (mostly girls) gathered on Tuesday, July 25th to wait for the Backstreet Boys to emerge from a Burger King commercial they were filming next door to the FAZE office. The crowd waited up to 14 hours but ended up with a 1 sec. glimpse at midnight as the band ran to their getaway truck. A lot of pissed off fans! We tried to arrange a quick interview but Burger King was letting absolutely no media in. So we walked to McDonalds for an ice cream.

JULY---The FAZEteen.com site reached 15000 hits in one day, a new record, with visitors from over 45 countries this month. A lot of teen surfers this summer and we don't mean at the beach... JULY---Yahoo! features FAZE Teen Magazine in their hot new websites section.

JULY---FAZE is putting the final touches on the expanded Back-to-School Issue hitting the printing presses early in August JULY---A new contest for cool autographed Serial Joe stuff is up on the website-here.

JULY---Great FAZE photoshoot with beautiful, brainy and evercharming Juliette Powell, MUCHMUSIC VJ, for her feature story/interview in the back-to-school issue.

JULY---Big night at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, FAZE reporter Maya and Lori were working hard hanging with The Moffats, Christine Aguilera, MyTown and others at a massive concert to kick off the summer. Stories, photos and interviews with the bands will be in upcoming issues.

JULY---What a great country we live in. In the last few weeks FAZE has been out West, in the Maritimes, throughout Quebec and Ontario...wow, what can we say? Canadians rock! Coolest teens on the planet...
