Yes
indeed
.life is very good for the three guys of LFO.
Although most thought they were one hit wonders with 'Summer
Girls'
the boys are back and rocking Top 40 with
'Every Other Time'.
After taking time to adjust to their seemingly overnight
success, the guys of LFO took a great deal of time and
effort working on this record.
I caught up with the band on their latest promotional
stop in Toronto and sat down to chat about the album -
and the evolutions they went through.
How do they stay grounded, I asked. "Cuz we can't
fly" Devin replied cheekily. Good to see they don't
take things too seriously.
Moving to J Records and taking things upon themselves
(Rich was the executive producer on this album), they
have released something that they feel happy with. "We
have a really good management team
however we're
the only ones that really know what we are" explains
Rich.
Known for carrying upbeat songs - LFO show the world how
much they've "grown up" since their last release.
For example, the lyrical content (ex. 'Every Other Time')
is more mature than the candy coated 'Summer Girls'. "That
song was so not about Abercrombie and Fitch!" laughs
Rich.
Kudos
to Brad, Rich and Devin for taking charge and staying
true to themselves.
