The party started at the flagship Holt Renfrew on Bloor Street West where designers, media, and the who's who of the fashion industry were mingling, snapping shots of the event and snacking on delicious hors d'oeuvres.

Caryn Lerner, CEO of Holt Renfrew officially opened up L'Oréal Fashion Week Spring Collection 2008 with the tagline, "Who Are You Wearing?" - a very appropriate line as the goal of Fashion Week is to showcase the talent of Canadian designers and put the deserving ones on the map. Other speakers of the night included Robin Kay, Audrey Smaltz, Barbara Atkins and more.

With Fashion Week officially started, the mobs were off to the Nathan Phillips tents for some shows, more mingling, and more hors d'oeuvres.
