The Loudness Album Contest
Rules
and Regulations
HOW
TO ENTER
No purchase is necessary. The contest is open to all legal residents
of Canada, except Quebec.
To enter on-line, go to www.fazeteen.com and click on the “The
Loudness ” contest link. Email the answer to the multiple
choice question and include your name, address, age, city, postal
code, phone number, email address and send to contest@fazeteen.com.
All entries must be received on or before 11:59 p.m. (ET)
November 12, 2004.
Only
one entry per person or e-mail address. Entries will
not be eligible if sent by any method not specified above. By
entering the contest, each participant acknowledges having read
these rules and regulations and agrees to be bound by them and
all decisions of the Contest Host and the Contest Sponsors,
which shall be final.
THE PRIZES
GRAND PRIZE:
There will be ten (10) Prizes awarded each consisting of a copy
of the 2CD-rock compilation "The Loudness"
Each prize has an approximate retail value of C$25.00.
1. There will be one random
draw made for each Grand Prize. One random draw will be made
by the Contest Host (Faze Publications Inc.) on November 13,
2004, in Toronto, Ontario from all eligible entries received
on or before November 12th, 2004.
2. In order to win the Grand Prize, the selected entrant will
be contacted by telephone, email, mail or courier. In the event
the selected entrant cannot be contacted within two (2) days
of prize notification, another selected entrant will be chosen.
3. All prizes must be
accepted as awarded. No substitution for, or transfer of prizes
will be allowed except for Contest Sponsor’s right to
substitute prizes of equivalent value in the event of circumstances
beyond Contest Sponsor’s control. The Grand Prize will
be fulfilled within three (3) months of November 13, 2004.
4. The contest is open to legal residents of Canada only (not
including Quebec), except employees and members of their immediate
families, or persons domiciled within the same household,
of the Contest Sponsor(s), their advertising agencies, prize
suppliers and independent contest organizers. By entering,
contestants agree to abide by contest rules and decisions
of the independent judging organization, which shall be final.
Only one prize per family, household or address will be awarded.
5. All entries become the sole property of the Contest Host.
No responsibility shall be taken for lost, stolen, delayed,
damaged incomplete or misdirected entries. All entries that
are illegible, defaced, mutilated, incomplete, altered or
obtained from unauthorized sources are void. By entering the
contest, entrants consent to the use of their name, city of
residence, video image and/or photograph in any publicity
or Internet posting carried out by the Contest Host and the
Contest Sponsors without compensation.
6 . The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial
and municipal laws.
7. The Contest Sponsors are not responsible for any errors
or technical difficulties which may arise resulting from failure
in the server, hardware or software, transmission failure
or lost, delayed or corrupted data transmitted by participant.
The Contest Sponsors are not liable for any damage to a users
system occasioned by participating in the contest. The Contest
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate
the contest in the event that it becomes infected by a computer
virus or is otherwise technically impaired. In the event of
a dispute regarding who submitted an on-line entry, the entry
will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account.
8. By entering the Contest, each entrant accepts these Contest
rules and regulations, which are subject to change without
notice. Changes shall be posted only at www.fazeteen.com.
By entering the Contest, each entrant releases the Contest
Sponsors and any other person or entity associated in any
way with the Contest, their respective parents, affiliates,
subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, agents and their
respective advertising and promotional agencies from any and
all liability arising in connection with the Contest, including,
without limitation, the selection of the eligible winner and
the administration of the Contest.
9. The personal information you are providing to enter this
contest will be used only to administer this contest unless
otherwise clearly indicated.
