Get Up and Dance
Coca-Cola's New Dance Contest Will Get Feet Moving
by Naomi Leanage

Coca-Cola’s Cap Dancing video proves that the metal cap on top of your favourite beverage can be used for more than just keeping your drink inside the bottle.

Full of creativity, passion and love for dance, the video brings together dancers specializing in all kinds of styles for a one of a kind choreography.

Check it out here:

And now Coca-Cola Canada wants you to top it.

Imagine performing onstage during a Live Nation concert in front of hundreds of people and having nine of your closest friends there to watch you. This big dream could turn into a reality if you win Coca-Cola’s What Can Your Coke Become contest. Impressing the judges could even win you a personal choreography lesson with Canadian dance-sensation Luther Brown!

So if you think you can dance, this contest is the perfect way to show off your skills. And if you’re in doubt of your abilities, Brown is sure to reassure you.

“Everyone can dance,” he says, “it’s one of the most accessible activities around: all you need is music that moves you and your imagination. I was drawn to What Can your Coca-Cola Become because dance inspires creativity and I want teens to be able to express themselves and be creative”.

There’s no need to grab your dancing shoes for this contest, just a bottle of Coke, the creativity that flows through your mind, and of course a bunch of your friends. Creating a video showcasing your dance skills is one of the most fun and imaginative ways to be active, and according to ParticipACTION, being active for at least 60 minutes a day can help you do better in school and improve your self-confidence.

Visit www.coca-cola.com/capshoes to watch the Cap Dancing film, get inspired and then post your own videos. The more you create and share, the better chances you have catching the judges’ eyes.
