To all you super-savers: go see this movie. To all you shoppers: go see this movie. No matter if you’re a true “shopaholic” or not, this film will conjure up as many emotions as Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) has clothes—and that’s a lot.
Rebecca, a journalist with an expensive passion for shopping, is challenged to find her true calling in her field. She’s aspired to work for Alette (the trendiest and most prestigious fashion magazine) ever since she was a young girl.
However, her dream takes a detour at a financial magazine, which is circulated by the same publisher. There, she writes an honest column the city goes nuts for, juggles her debt and the debt collector pestering her, falls in love, realizes shopping is truly an addiction…. (dun, dun, dun) lives “happily ever after.”
Now don’t be fooled! This movie is no ordinary happy ending movie. It is the journey there that fans really enjoyed:
