The classic story of forbidden love...between two garden gnomes?!
Romeo and Juliet is reinvented once more in this hilarious 3-D adventure about two feuding garden gnome familes, the Blues and the Reds.
Though they have just over the fence from each other, in neighbouring yards, Gnomeo (James McAvoy, Atonement) and Juliet (Emily Blunt, The Devil Wears Prada) have never met--until one fateful night when they both sneak out of their homes. Under subtle disguises that hide the colours of their hats and gnome-y outfits, it is love at first site.
All is warm and fuzzy--the perfect colour of love--until they realize who they have fallen for. Can their two families, whose mutual hatred of each other being the only thing they have in common, ever see past what's on the outside to accept them as a couple?
An entertaining film full of comedy, action and just the right amount of plastic pink flamingos. Other voices include those of Michael Cane (Inception), Maggie Smith (Harry Potter), Hulk Hogan and Ozzy Osbourne.
