Tempestuous by Lesley LivingstonTEMPESTUOUS

review by Dana Marie Krook

The course of true love never did run smooth...

Kelley Winslow of Wondrous Strange and Darklight is back with this final installment in the trilogy.

After making her one, true love, Sonny Flannery, believe that she never did and never will love him--in order to protect him from the dangerous green power her presence can activate within him--Kelley sets out to solve the mystery behind his magick.

But then there's also the shattered theatre company she once called family that needs rebuilding. And rogue Janus Guards that seem hungry for violence at any cost. And one bad-boy Fennrys Wolf who keeps lurking about, carrying a soft-spot for Kelley.

With so many things gone wrong, where does she even begin to put the pieces back together?

Her friends try to help, but their advice ranges from everything like "pick your battles" to "try multi-tasking."

Tempestuous is a definite page-turner, like those in the series before it. We follow Kelley as she struggles with what so many of us deal with every day--balancing work, romance, family, friends, drama and disaster--but in a magical world where everything is not as it seems.
